Coleman Parent Visiting Day

Spend Some Time On The Ranch

We swing open the barn doors once each summer for every group, and welcome each camper’s family to The Ranch to see their child in action. Some activities lend themselves to parent participation, so “Kinfolk” should wear camp-appropriate footwear and come ready to play! Each group’s planned Visiting Day or Visiting Evening takes place in either Week 3 or Week 4. Scouts, Explorers, and 49ers (Grades 1-8) stay at camp on their designated evening for a pizza dinner. When chowtime is through, parents are invited to come see their camper participate in several activities, including a showcase of swim progress. Pioneers (Nursery School through entering Kindergarten) have their Visiting Day during the afternoon, at the end of which parents transport their own child home.

The visiting schedule is mailed home in the spring and posted here on our website. Visiting Evening takes place from 6-8 pm, while Visiting Day hours are from 2-3:30 pm. Whenever your visiting is, you can be sure your Pardners are “busting their britches with pride” to show off their newly honed skills and newfound friends!
