Here on The Ranch, we promote healthy competition – giving campers a chance to accept challenges that lead to teamwork and personal bests. We also know that is essential for kids to not only lose gracefully but to win with poise, too! And, by helping campers overcome adversity, we avoid excessive rivalry and endorse spirited participation. Do we compete? Yes, but we are not “driven.”

Our focus is on celebrating effort, so campers get to choose activities without needing to be expert in them. Sportsmanship and cooperation are our watchwords as we encourage contribution without judging outcomes. It always comes down to this question: “Did you have a good time?”
