Parent Visiting

Spend Some Time On The Ranch

We swing open the barn doors once each summer for every group through the second grade, where we welcome those campers’ families to The Ranch to see their child in action. Each group’s planned Visiting Day or Visiting Evening takes place in either Week 3 or Week 4. Kindergarten, first, and second graders stay at camp on their designated evening for a pizza dinner. Parents join in after to see campers participate in an activity. Nursery school and pre-kindergartners have their visiting day during the afternoon, at the end of which parents transport their own child home.

The visiting schedule is mailed home in the spring and is included in the camp calendar. Visiting Evening takes place from 6-7:30 pm, while visiting day hours are from 2-3:30 pm.

Older campers, third grade and above, enjoy Coleman After Dark, a carefully planned evening activity by grade. Their supervisors have lots of “stuff” up their sleeves! Safe to say, it’s far from camp as usual; and while every year is different, each event focuses on unforgettable fun.
