Code of Living

Each group, along with their counselors, composes a code by which they agree to live together for the summer. A camp-wide ceremony seals the deeds. The ritual is one of the most sincere and time-honored traditions on The Ranch.

We also teach campers to dig up the roots of uncaring behaviors and plant the seeds of acceptance and inclusion. Children learn to recognize, to label, and finally to practice strategies to prevent bullying, to resolve conflicts, and to treat others with respect. Our no bullying tactics are integrated into the entire landscape of our inclusive culture.
